John and Mary had 12 children.  Like many in the pioneer days they had to witness the premature death of not only one child but 5.  In Mary's case only 4 were her's as Sanford Fulkerson had a different mother.  He was born 12 years after Mary's death.
			William F. Fulkerson born 1831.  died 1847.  he was 14 years old Newton Fulkerson born 1844.  died 1847.  he was 3 years old. Isaac M. Fulkerson born 1848.  died 1849.  he was 1 year old. Sanford Fulkerson born 1860.  died 1864.  he was 4 years old.
		I can only speculate here but is it possible that Mary died in childbirth when Isaac was born?  Hopefully we can find some clues to that.
