John Fulkerson was born September 5, 1901 in Goldsmith Indiana.  He died May 9, 1968 in Cincinati, Ohio.  He is buried at Grandlawn cemetery in Michigan. Jessie Grace Humbarger was born January 21, 1907. John and Jessie were married February 25, 1925

John and Jessie had three children: Beverly Jane - born October 20, 1925.  died 2005? Married Robert Fitch February 2, 1954  two children:  Jason (adopted) and Blake. John (Jack) Waldo - born September 22, 1927.  died March 5, 1997 in California.  Married Ima Dann (Dani) March 17, 1952.  four children.  John Jr, Debra, B. Jeffery, Brian Donald - Born November 8, 1929.  died ? Married Anne Sambrone april 10, 1954 two children.  Kathy, Donald Mar

John worked with his father and later, with his brothers, at the Fulkerson Fuel and Oil Company in Detroit.  While on vacation in Florida he became ill and He and Jessie attempted to drive home to Michigan.  they made it as far as Cincinati where his son John Jr. lived at the time and entered the hospital there.  he died of Leukemia shortly after.

John was quite a joker.  One story Dad and mom told me was right after they were married (Benton and Donna) Uncle John came over.  Mom had never met him so Uncle John pretended to be a plainclothes police detective and had a warrent for Benton's arrest. Naturally Mom was paniced until Dad came out laughing and invited Uncle John in.
