Like his father and brothers James was a famer and lived in Clinton County Indiana all his life, dying the same year as his brother Hiram.  Their Daughter Lillie Married Charles Fall.  It was his second marriage.  They must've divorce as she remarried in 1900 to Liew Floyd and they had a son.  The 1900 Census is so weakly written it's hard to discern the sons name.  There are also two Fulkerson's on the same census page but I cannot make out the first names.

Their son Charles had one son Jesse who married Edna in 1919.  Jesse was a printer in 1917 when he registered for WWI and later became a Garage Mechanic by 1930.  at that point he and Edna had no known children.
