| Edgar had at least two wives. The reason I say that is Rosa is listed as his wife in Hancock County which neighbors Tipton county in 1920 and is five years younger than he is. in 1930 Edgar is married to Rosie who is ten years his junior. Since I've not found anything on either women in the death registry, marriage, or birth and the names are very close, it's possible they are the same. My guess is they are different people as the ages in the two census are very clear. As with most of Hirams Children it is very hard to find anything out about them. Edgar is listed as running a hotel there in Goldsmith for his occupation in 1900 and by 1920 is a laborer. Cary M. Lattus's middle name may be Martha as she's listed as Martha C. in 1900 and Cary M. on the Marriage registry. Cary's parents imigrated from Germany | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Edgars son John Ernest Fulkerson moved so Souix City Iowa where he worked for a railroad company as a firman on a steam locomotive. He is listed there on his WWI draft registration in 1917 when he was 31 years old. I could find nothing else about him or Mabel after that. Clara married and had a family. Her husband Reginald did a viriety of jobs from a worker in a used tire factory to farm laborer and working in an amunition depot during WWII. Together thay had four children that I could find. They spent their lives in Daviess Indiana. |
